My G8 after lift and rear seat Install
I installed a 7" All Sports lift on my G8. All went well except the rear upper shock mounting. Contrary to All Sports instructions the only way to install the upper rear shock mount support was to modify it for strength and then install it behind the carts rear upper frame support. It does not work going inside of the frame support as instructed simply because it bends the shocks to install that way. Ruined one shock trying.
Here are pics of my cart after the install of the lift, the chrome rockers and the rear seat install. Just waiting for my seat covers to get here then I am going to disassemble and paint everything. |

Re: My G8 after lift and rear seat Install
Nice mo. I'm waiting for pachanga to finalize his design so I can order my lift. I sold my boat so now I have some cash to get everything I needed!

Are the rear shocks overly compressed? They just look really smooshed?

Re: My G8 after lift and rear seat Install
how smooth is it? My cart seems overly stiff already with stock suspension I was hoping with the lift and tires there would be some softening.

I am not sure yet Wingy. I just drove it around the subdivision on paved roads about 4 blocks after I got it together. Not a true test to tell. ? Don't forget to keep your eyes open for another Yam for me. |
