Seat Foam Rubber Thickness
Anybody ever replaced the foam in your Club Car DS seats?
I'm having to build a DS Bottom seat for a custom application. So without tearing one apart to measure it, how thick is it? I'm thinking 4 or 5 inches of high density foam. I already have stock size covers that I think will work OK. Anybody ever done this? Thanks! |

Re: Seat Foam Rubber Thickness
The stock foam is tapered. 5" thick in front ,4'' in back.
I've not been able to find foam that works, locally. If you're not using stock foam, before you staple cover, sit on it. If it is too soft, add an inch or 2 of foam. Once it is compressed and stapled it will firm up. |
