Pre charge resistor melting
I have a 2007 club car precedent. I messed up and drove it through deep water while hunting. The precharge resistor would get extremely hot and I have read in other post that a bad controller will cause a resistor to over heat. What controller would be best? I use it to ride around town and to hunt out of. Thanks for the help

Re: Pre charge resistor melting
This is an XCT300 which is an OEM replacement, but far superior to stock by all means measurable. https://www.revolutiongolfcars.com/p...roller-300-amp

Pre charge resistor melting
A bad solenoid is also a common cause of an overheating pre charge resistor. If you are hunting you might want to go for a bigger Alltrax.
