Cart won’t go

Installed new T875s
Careful to hook cables exactly as it was before
Got big spark whet attaching #1 positive and noticed switch was in run not tow
Let was turned off and forward/reverse switch in neutral
Turned switch to tow and did not spark
Now I am afraid to switch to run since seems to have open circuit
