Default Voltage Reducer Installation

I'm installing a 48-12volt reducer on an 03 DS. My question is: do I install the 48v negative to the pack negative, or to the negative buss bar? Does it matter?

That would usually go to the Main Pack or B- and the 12v Neg would go over to the buss bar. That would be where you terminated all your other accessories too....

If you still have an OBC then I would suggest taking the 48 volt negative to B- terminal on the controller. That way the OBC can account for all voltage loss to the battery pack by the 12 volt accessories.
