Default To weld or not to weld?

So I tore my differential apart on my 94DS Kawasaki rear end thinking I would have a welder weld it up this week but now I am hesitating.

The carrier on these are 2 pieces so it looks like you cant weld all 4 gears like a normal setup, just 3 of them.

Anyone weld up a Kawasaki rear end with success? Seems like there are no options out there for CC aftermarket limited slips. Thinking of buying a welded rear end from a site sponsor and leaving mine stock.

I would do that. When you weld them you weaken the tinsel strength in them from the heat and they are put thru a lot of stress if driving over any solid surfaces (asphalt, concrete, etc.)

Easy to swap rear ends around for when you want it and when you don't.

If your cart ever runs on asphalt, don't weld the diff.
You can break axles, strip splines, even break the carrier.

If all it ever drives on is dirt roads mud and grass. Weld it, but know that you will lose turning radius and may have trouble on turns with the rear wheels wanting to slide out.

You don't have to weld the gears together, just weld the spider gears directly to the carrier.

David do you sell this as complete rear end or just the gears ? ( third member )
Have a limited slip in my CC now. Kind of leaves me holding my breath at times.
Kind of sounds like trying to shift a 50s model truck onto granny with out pushing clutch all the way in..

thank you, that helps. I have read a ton on this but not much specific info for my cart / diff.
Cart is a hunting buggy that stays at my hunting property, nearest pavement is 3 miles :)
That will work though if i ever decide to do it later on.

I can do either. I can have you send me yours to be welded and re-assembled, I can send you a center chunk that's been welded, or I can send you an entire assembly with or without new brakes. So there's several options. The center chunk idea won't work though unless you already have a Graziano differential. If you've got a Kawasaki you're gonna need the whole unit.
