Re: Club Car DS seat cover install
Thanks to all for the compliments. They are UpToPar covers ordered through Amazon. The order was placed 4/29 and I received it 5/8. I'm very pleased. The quality is very good.

Re: Club Car DS seat cover install
Seat covers I typically stretch over the foam and put 2-3 staples in each corner and then check to make sure the cover is straight and in the correct position before putting any more. I try to stretch the material pretty tight as it does loosen up some after a few weeks of use and exposure.
If you can get them, use stainless steel staples! The regular steel have a zinc coating that lasts for a year or so before they start to rust. Even less if it’s an electric cart with the all the battery vapors floating around under the seat. The stainless staples don’t typically rust at all but if the do it takes many years before you see even a tiny amount. If your seats don’t have the rubber trim on the bottom anymore stop by a hardware store and pick up a roll of the narrow width garage door bottom insulation. Cut that to fit around the base of the seat (except for near the hinges) after installing the covers and stapling them on. Use staples or small flat head screws with small washers every few inches to hold the foam on. It gives a finished look around the edge and covers up the staples. It also keeps the seat from rubbing against the body work and wearing through the new cover on the edges. |

Re: Club Car DS seat cover install
Seat covers done. Now all that's left is dash install and light and turn signal wiring.
