Re: Club car slow uphill.
Gotcha.
I had batteries replaced so I am understanding that should have reset the obc. |

Re: Club car slow uphill.
What is pack voltage after charger shuts off? Better yet, what is it 12 hours after charger shuts off?
If voltage is OK I don't think you have a problem. Check the air in your tires. |

Re: Club car slow uphill.
Ok you said the batteries have just been replaced. The battery light is coming on. Could be the main pack negative cable did not get put back through the hole in the obc. That would cause you problem.

Re: Club car slow uphill.
Tightened all nuts on terminals as a couple were loose.
Car was charged, key off, in neutral and dash light was on. I checked, with multimeter on DCV 250 and measured 47. One battery at 7 and all others at 8. I am,assuming the dash light is worth ignoring. I plan to buy an actual guage to be sure on charge. Thoughts? Thanks again for the help. I am,certainly learning a lot here |

Just to throw out some completely arbitrary numbers to demonstrate my point... It could be 1 battery at 7.97v and the other 5 at 8.03v which would mean the pack is dead (which most likely would be the batteries are not charging properly since they are new). It does take a few charge cycles to "break in" the batteries to accept a full charge, so that may be part of the case here as well. It could be 5 batteries at 8.5v and 1 battery at 7.0v which would be a bad cell in that 1 battery and the other 5 are fine, so that 1 battery would be under warranty if so. did you reset the OBC as suggested? Does your OBC even work? |

Re: Club car slow uphill.
Thanks for the, patience as I learn tonuse the meter.
Pack -49.2. Batteries. 8.23, 8.21, 8.21, 8.22, 8.20, 8.20 Obc should have been reset when batteries were changed. My reverse buzzer doesnt work so not sure how to reset otherwise I have run the cart 2 times for between 3-5 miles since batteries were changed. |
