Re: Sluggish cart
What type batteries do you have in it?
And yes, 20 mph in stock trim would require SP-4 |

Re: Sluggish cart
How about going back to basics. Are the brakes dragging?

Re: Sluggish cart
Another thing spider, if you installed a 48-12 reducer, fuse block etc. that old reducer shouldn't be hooked up at all, or affecting the lights. Something is wrong there.

Re: Sluggish cart
Unless the amperage is down on your controller (or smaller then your FIL's), then I am not sure what else with out riding it or hooking a scanner to it and reading it.
If the speed was off, I would think MCOR not reaching 100%, but it must be to see 20mph. Just ensure you do not have any throttle points anywhere.... (bad Cable, bad lugs, bad or corroded connections, etc.) |

Re: Sluggish cart
I completely agree. The 16 to 12 reducer is part of a harness that's plugged into the lights with two leads coming up to the battery. I'll have to go back and look but I may or may not have disconnected the leads to the battery. The harness from the light kit plugged into the smaller reducer and when I unplugged it the lights failed. This whole thing threw me for a loop.
