That is a standard IQ controller. They are everywhere, but remember when you buy a used one, it may last a while, it may last a month. Always do a cost analysis and see what works best for you due to overseas shipping. A new Alltrax will bolt right in there and really open up your cart to a newer technology and capability. Revolution (David Hicks) can help you either way you choose.

Agreed. If a used one is even close to a new Alltrax then it is a no brainer.

Probably going for a alltrax controller, but i reeeealy want to go for a controller and motor upgrade. Any thoughts on good combo? Will mainly be used on golfcourses, should I go for high tourqe, high speed or any motor that delivers both? Any important pros and cons I should know about considering make and type?

It's undoubtedly a failed controller. KGSC and NoleFan nailed it.

Reason for all the questions are that there is no market for reselling anything that I buy, and that the controller+motor+other uppgrades will cost about 3000$ with shipment+tax etc.

Honestly, I would do it all and get the biggest discount I can all at once. The guy above (TahoeDawgZ71) is your best resource to discuss that. Here is his email info@revolutiongolfcars.com as I assume calling may be unpractical for you, but if you can call him, here 706-431-3917 is the number.

If you wanted speed or torque is the question. I like an Alltrax XCT500 (or 400 if preferred), FSIP Speed motor (or Torque if preferred), 400a solenoid, and 2g cables.
