Default Solenoid F/R Upgrade

I’m getting ready to upgrade my F/R switch and Solenoid. Was cruising good ol cartsunlimited and got a little puzzled when looking at the solenoids. I have a 02 CC DS 36v resistor cart. Do I need just the solenoid or the diode and resistor as well? Don’t think I have any of that on there now. Also, what should I up the cables to? I’ve got 2ga across the batteries now.

Resistors and diodes are used with solid state speed control, not resistor coil carts.

I think they made them clear up to 03... they were cheap fleet rents
Cheap to make. No electronics. What killed them was the introduction of memory foam mattresses ... no more cheap supply of bed springs

Definitely a resistor cart with the vglide. AB0228-167632. Was a little confusing to me when I first got it. Been slowly upgrading parts and now I’m up to the solenoid and FNR switch.
