Re: Alltrax Settings FSIP Motor 2016 CC Precedent
Did you log those runs to see how low the battery pack is getting?
If it is getting below 42v, try setting the under voltage to 42v to see if it helps with retaining the peak voltage for speed. |

Re: Alltrax Settings FSIP Motor 2016 CC Precedent
You can see where the battery voltage drops pretty low when You take off and it does not recover enough for you to get top speed.
You can set the "Under Voltage" to 40v to start with, it will likely make the cart feel quicker as the Controller will prevent the motor from inefficiently using excessive current during take off. |

Re: Alltrax Settings FSIP Motor 2016 CC Precedent
The pack dropped to 38v under initial acceleration and the motor drew nearly 400 amps. 400 amps is not typical for this motor. Can you try the standard map for this motor vs the speed version used in the files? See attached

Re: Alltrax Settings FSIP Motor 2016 CC Precedent
I noticed the same power hungry behavior from another member:
http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/extre...ml#post1591151 Limiting the Battery voltage was the only way I knew to keep that motor within the efficiency range. That weekend I played with the "Under Voltage" setting and reported the results: http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/elect...all-wrong.html Ever since I got my XCT500 from ScottyB, I have been impressed with its capabilities. I have tried different custom interfaces with the Controller and I am always impressed on how well it behaves. Using the "Under Voltage" to allow the Controller to adjust the maximum battery current that will keep the pack voltage from lowering unnecessarily is a good idea. |

Re: Alltrax Settings FSIP Motor 2016 CC Precedent
set under voltage set to 40v. it definitely takes off smoother, but top speed is still 28mph. I will try the other zip file tomorrow.
