What would make it randomly fail?

What would cause it to randomly fail all of a sudden?

Mainly it is just 14 years old. I have gotten 5 years out of them and I have gotten 15+ years out of them. I have seen them go from a simple surge to a being overworked. It could be a myriad of reasons, but for this one, it is more than likely just age. Think of all the resistors, capacitors, FET's, etc. that are in there and to go 15 years is a great end result.

The Alltrax I linked you to is a far superior product over the old Curtis IQ. It will deliver 350 amps (125 more than you have now) resulting in more torque, more speed (23-24 on stock tires), and with the Tool Kit, you can adjust all the settings right from your laptop. Troubleshooting is done through the Tool Kit and it is very user friendly.

I'm sure you're right. The cart was rescued from high grass in a lakes yard, where it was sitting for over a year. It's a custom built cart now, lol, than ran great one day and died the next. Thanks again for all of your help! I'll get one ordered and update you when it's swapped out.

And if you need help with it or in the tool kit, just shout. The controller will come from David (Revolution) programmed to your cart and mapped to your motor so you will just hook it up, replace two (2) terminals, and get to going again. You will have no problem considering everything else you already did on your on.

MartinEZGO, feel free to PM me or call me if you have any further questions about the controller. I'd love to work with you on this. I'm in Augusta, so it's not too terribly far if you ever need to bring the cart to me to have it looked at.
