Did you replace the magnet for the sensor?

The magnet was also changed with speed sensor for a new one
Since this is a 2014/2015 cart, make sure it is a stock 8-pole magnet as a "speed magnet" (4-poles) would cause your issue now.

Thanks Sergio. It is an 8 pole magnet top hat.

The "Top Hat" is the Hal sensor, the magnet is the disc, separate parts, just wanted to confirm you did not introduce a problem.

It looked clean and fine but want to check off other factors that could cause this.
You can probe on the same wire on the other side (controller side) of the connector if you are wanting to verify the connection is made.

You can check the signals from the controller by placing the Red probe (+) on MPP post and place the Black (–) probe on the black/white wire in the 3-pin connector. The voltage should be 48 volts or pack voltage. Now place the Black (–) probe on the MPN post and place Red (+) probe on red wire in the 3-pin connector. The voltage reading should be approximately ~15-16 volts. If <14vdc is is a controller issue.

Baring any unforeseen wiring issue back to the controller, I do not know of another issue that will cause there to be "No" voltage change. I have seen the pulse low before, but with zero voltage it has always been a speed sensor failure or faulty. And I have had them be intermittent too.

No voltage change can also happen if both wheels are raised, otherwise the Controller will keep that green wire "pulled up" to 5v and the sensor will bring it to 0v as the magnet poles alternate pass the sensor.

Ok. We did tests. We have the voltage change from 0-4.9 as we turned wheel. We had both raised last time. We get BPV on black/white wire. We get 14.23 v when back probing red cable at 3 pin connector. Does this point at controller?

Just out of curiosity what are the forward and reverse speeds?

Forward around 4-5 mph. Reverse around 8-10mph I think. I cannot measure as we dont get controller communication with handheld.

Are tony.loyola and Carts4you the same user or are we mixing threads?

As long as the reverse buzzer sounds when the FNR is on reverse, the motor wiring is correct (what WalterM6 was trying to verify).

Are You plugging the scanner on the dash or directly on the Controller 4-pin connector?

Do you have the controller model?
