Identify this part
Picked up a 2005 CC DS. Going over it today to see what parts I need for rebuild. This was bolted up on the frame behind the batteries. Has lights but not hooked up. Is it some sort of reducer that was used fo the lights.

Re: Identify this part
Are you sure it is a 2005 model?
That looks like a energy displacement resistor found in Regen 1 carts, circa 1995. |

Re: Identify this part
That looks like some kinda ghetto voltage drop setup that someone made from an old battery hold down bar they cut down and drilled some holes in it.

Re: Identify this part
The wires for the lights were laying next to it. I was just courteous if it was used for the lights how it would work.

Re: Identify this part
That is very strange looking, somebody out there has to know what it is or was.
Can't wait to hear more about it. |
