That's the one I use. It's hidden up in the battery compartment above the eyeline.

If you connect two wires without using the switch and User1 and User2 become active, then you likely have a wiring problem.

Do a continuity test on the cable to make sure is not pinched somewhere and causing a short.

Im not sure why both user buttons light up in the monitor tab of the toolkit program when my switch is position 1 or 2, but it seems to be responding to the parameters I have set in the tool kit. Position 0 on my switch it hauls but, position 1 or 2 is more like a normal cart, which is how I have the program set.

I think one of my terminals in the plug I made up may not have been pushed in far enough into the connector.

If it was shorting against the pin next to it, that would explain why both User1 and User2 were always powered together.

No i don't think it was. As it sits, both user 1 and 2 show on at the same time in the monitor folder of the toolkit when my switch is in position 1 or 2. Hell if I know what is going on.

It has to be the cable, connector or the switch, since only one of the two pins has power at the time, they cannot both show ON in the monitor.

I will check the switch with a meter tonight. So If I understand correct, when my switch is in the 1 position, I should show voltage there, but zero volts on the 2nd position pin correct? Nolefan4ever how do you have your switch wired up? Do you have power going to the center pin?

Correct, power goes to the center pin.

In the center position there should be no power to either side.

When you place the switch in one of the other two positions, only the pin on the opposite side that is depressed should have power.
