Speed Magnet Installed Today
Hi,
2007 48v DS IQ with GE motor. Installation was easy thanks to instructions found on the forum. Regen braking is gone. Went from 15mph to 17mph. Should I be getting better? Newer Trojan batteries. Thanks. |

Re: Speed Magnet Installed Today
19mph is about all you'll get out of the magnet upgrade, with no increase in torque. All lot of things can adversely affect your final numbers. IE: tire inflation, dragging brakes, extra passengers, wind resistance, etc.

Re: Speed Magnet Installed Today
Thanks. Applied the foot pedal zip tie fix and got 18-19.
Should do me good until I return from Oshkosh and look into a Bandit. |
