DS Rear Sear Footrest Loose
Due to kids standing on the rear seat footrest, it is now bent and loose. I jacked the footrest up to bend it back and tightened all of the bolts. It is still loose/bent. The cart frame where footrest mounts is not bent. Any thoughts on how to reinforce? Thanks! |

Re: DS Rear Sear Footrest Loose
Mine has a Steeleng rear seat setup. It comes with a heavy gauge triangle bracket that supports the bottom of the footrest using the single bolt as yours has.
Contact Steeleng and see if they can sell two of them separately. There is a left and right configuration. By the way, you may want to drill a new bolt hole and inch or so above the existing one in the support arm to level the footrest a bit when you install the triangle bracket. This video shows it pretty well. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HSq4eC9mL2U Last edited by Tom47; 07-15-2019 at 08:35 PM.. Reason: Added info |
