ok going to do top end is their any thing I should do with the head while I am changing cylinder and piston

ok change cylinder and piston rings new pump new carburetor .starts right up but wont run sounds like its loading up getting gas out the back of carburetor . put old carb on same thing . when I pull gas line off carb it will run up to speed till it run out of gas HELP

Are the reeds good? Did you hook up the fuel line to the proper inlet? Is the carb vent blocked?

how do i check reeds .on carburetor thier is a side inlet and one that points out I put it on the side one and plug the one that points up
