Default Back seat install help G9

I have a problem with install of flip seat. Figured I'd see if some of Yall could help. I'll post pics below, but the main problem is where to cut off my sweater basket struts. It calls for cutting off 1/4" past the hole nearest back seat. However, there are no holes on my struts? Does anyone have a G9 with holes they could give me measurements as a guide? I'm also emailing manufacturer of seat and they are being very helpful. Just figured yall could be a big help as well. Ready to get this bad boy installed!

my basket looked like one in the directions/roof attaches to sides, your pic looks like basket ties to roof supports? is there a way to mock up the seat to see where it will go ? just did a rear seat on mine 2 weeks ago not same kit as yours i had to do alot of modifications to get mine to fit/function...good luck and stay hydrated!

Here's a pic of where it goes. The directions call for me to make the cut then reattach roof struts to basket struts with my stock hardware. I just don't have landmarks of holes on mine to measure and make cut.

Is there a way to mount the bottom bracket then you will be able to see where the top bracket should go and then cut to fit? To bad measurement wasn't from seat back ?

You guys installing rear seats, need to mount them as far forward as possable. Two full size adults sitting on the back will make steering unresponsive. Meaning your car won't turn when you want it to!!

Funny yall. Back seat mainly for kids and hauling a dead deer or ice chest. Here's the result I came up with on back rail

Mike Mac, you have to remember G2/G9 owners still need to get to the gas tank filler, so you can't get it to far forward. HogSmoke, I might suggest building a bracket from the bag rack/top frame point to the rear seat, that's not the strongest attaching system I've seen. Glad you got it figured out
