Default Speaker and Amp Mounting

Looking to put 4 speakers on my cart and mount a 4 channel amp as well. I think I am going to get a regular amp and marine speakers. I am going to make the roof removable with D clips so that is not an option

Where would you suggest putting the speakers?

Where should I mount the amp? Anyone have an amp they prefer?

I didn't see a section for speakers on this forum

What type of cart do you have? Does it has a standard dash? I mounted 2 speakers under my seat and I've seen people get the custom dashes for a few hundred bucks with the speaker holes already cut in them. They typically mount the amp behind the dash too; however, you will probably have enough room to mount it near the batteries depending on which cart you have.

On a side note, my 2 small speakers were plenty loud for the golf cart.

I mounted 2 6.5" speakers under my seat and one in the cubby hole to your left. On the right cubby hole I put a mp3 stereo. No amp and it sounds REALLY good and I only have like $100 invested in the whole thing including waterproof stereo cover
