Lug pattern g1 golf cart question
Does any one know if the lug pattern is the same on a g1 golf cart as trailor wheels?
I'm not planning to run them on my cart and I'm sure it's not safe and all that I just need to know if they will fit. Below is a picture of something similar to what I am talking about. Thanks! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Re: Lug pattern g1 golf cart question
It's hard to say whether that would fit. It doesn't say the full lug pattern. Most golf carts, unless the hubs have been modified, use a 4 on 4 bolt pattern. Meaning they have 4 holes and they're 4" apart measured straight across (skip one hole). My sketch won't show properly.
0 0------0 0 The picture appears to be correct but there's no way to know for sure without measuring or getting the full lug pattern info. |

Re: Lug pattern g1 golf cart question
yamaha is metric 4x100mm
close to but not 4x4''=101.x mm I had to do minor file work to get the 4x4'' wheels to fit on a g-1 and g-29 your 4-4.80 tyres are too small by about 1/2 as most cart tyres are 8.00 and many/most trailer rims are 4x4.5 some are 4x4'' but only small narrow unsuited trailer tyres |

Re: Lug pattern g1 golf cart question
hint you want wide rims with old school RWD offsets
junk yards may have older car wheels in 13'' or 14'' in 4x4'' size but they are rare and getting hard to find |

Re: Lug pattern g1 golf cart question
I don't own a G1 so I'm not 100% sure that they're 4 on 4 lug pattern. I do have a Yamaha G8 and G16 and have friends with G2's & G9's, all have 4 on 4 and do not have 4x100mm. I have used 4x100mm wheels but I had to slightly open the holes up so the rim would fit. I bought a set of tires and rims for a golf carts with 4 on 4 lug pattern and they fit perfectly.
Also the rear rims from a lot of the older Polaris's ATV's used a 4 on 4 lug pattern but only the rears not the front wheels. Maybe somebody else can chime in on whether the G1 has 4 on 4 lug pattern. Here's a thread from 2008 discussing it. http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/gas-y...t-pattern.html |

Re: Lug pattern g1 golf cart question
I have used the HF 12-4.80 wheels on both the front and rear of my cart. They measure 20.5 inches.Cannot say on a G1 but on a G14 the clear with out any alterations. My brother in law has run the HF 8" on the front of his D model for many years. Both sizes work very well on street driven carts.
