Run a ground from the motor case to the battery negative and see if it improves the spark. You can use a jumper cable.

I just checked the compression 100 lbs an I just rebuilt it I have rebuilt a lot of cart motors and this one went together fine slid right into the cylinder didn't have any issues coulD I have installed it with out timing I know I checked like 5 times that's why I don't understand the no compression

I hooked up a large ground ground and now it works great but at low rpm spits and sputters maybe plug
