95 ezgo wont pull

Hi I have a 95 ezgo with a 6 inch lift an 23' tires and I wanted to use it for working around the farm.
So I got a 28 degree clutch and now it doesn't have as much pulling power as it did before I put the new clutch on the cart.
Because now the belt wont slip enough to get the motor to rev higher because it grips so much it wont rev high enough to pull anything.
It wont even drive up a steep hill with any weight in it at all

My question is if there is a way to get the motor to rev high enough to pull anything wile still being able to have the torque that I have with the new clutch?

Did you change the belt also and what belt are you using?

yes I changed the belt with an oem belt for that cart but im not sure what size it but it was the same size as the old one

I don't know what could be the problem, the belt isn't suppose to slip. Are you sure it's the right belt?
How far down is the belt sitting in the driven clutch? pics would be nice.
Did something happen to make you get the new clutch?
Not that this is much help to you now but I'm a big fan of the shorter belt, it engages the drive clutch closer to the shaft and makes it so much easier for the engine to turn the driven clutch.
