Checked the solenoid with my meter and it beeps on the 2 small post, going to clean it and put it back in but first im going to replace some wires to see if thats the problem if not of comes the generator to change the brushes fingers crossed

You could test the wire from the pedal to the solenoid, see if the pedal or some wire is shorting.

Hey guys i just got my solenoid on and still does the same thing, i just did the foot switch test with my DMM and im getting 12v when the pedal pressed and nothing on the brown

So i checked the fuse and its blown AGAIN same problem i had when i first bought it any reason why it keeps blowing just that fuse ???

I had to put in new bushes and also redid the ends on the battery cables. When I did the cable I used the grease for electric connections on each part. So far so good.

I forgot I also had the problem with the stop switch. People had this cart before me did a fancy job rewiring the switch, so had to get good connections to the end so to get the cart to start the first time with out hitting the gas peddle a dozen times. They out did themselves in using solderless terminals they took the record on amount to use.

First thing I did was get the disk on the Yamaha G2 A/E service manual DVD. I printed off all three manuals Parts - service and Operators. The books are great to have in hand on the cart but the disk is great to blow up to see the area better.
