Re: generators
As long as you are running the cart, running those accessories that you listed won't hurt the battery. Its pretty much like a car if you run the acc. for a long period of time when not running the cart you better have some jumper cables.

Re: generators
Your best bet is to run all of your accessories through a fuse block from your battery. You will be fine unless you are running big wattage draw stuff like stereo amps or huge lights.
Alternator produces alternating current or A/C. |

Re: generators
The generator puts out voltage, the voltage regulator maintains the correct voltage that goes back into your battery (usually around 13 - 14.5 volts). Standard features and accessories won't hurt your battery at all.
What cart, model, year are we discussing here? |

Re: generators
Here is thre easiest way to test your voltage regulator. Either run your cart in neutral, or elevate the rear tires so you can crank it up and rev the engine. Put a voltage tester on the battery at a dead engine. Crank the engine up and let her rev - if the voltage comes UP when the engine is running, then the generator AND voltage regulator are all operating properly. If the voltage only maintains at or below 12 volts, then you may have a bad regulator. On an EZGO, you should see voltage go up around 13.5 to 14.5 volts - this keeps the battery charged...
