Sepex carts have only a rocker switch F&R, this rocker switch sends a low amperage signal to the controller and the controller makes the high amperage change for direction.

One of the downsides to the Western bodies was the reduced access to electronics and as mentioned all the added bells and whistles can make this cart a little harder to fix for the average golf cart enthusiast. However if you insist - print and follow this solenoid activation diagram for PDS. The cart should be BASICALLY as shown.

We have an inexpensive digital battery meter for 36-48 volts. It is normally $18 but sale priced at $12 this holiday season. Buy the plain 1 hole trim piece for it, it makes a great cut out template and beauty ring.
The meter is reverse polarity protected and can be wired battery direct or through the key switch for full time or part time operation in red or blue colors.

I'm still stumped in regards to this Western Eleagant cart. I haven't spent but an hour more on it , mainly just tracing things down to better understand the thing. Okay so here is what I've got now. fully charged pack 50+ volts coming out of 8 six volt batteries. Everything is hooked up like it was when it was running and in my opinion is correct after looking at diagrams and some past experience with carts . So now let's just say(for laughs) that I'm extremely intelligent and am sure that it's all hooked up correct. haha... Now what do I check? Here is her story about what happend, she got home after being gone for 6 months and before she did anything checked then added water to the battries then hooked it up to the charger over night. the next day backed it out of the garage about ten feet then back in, just to see that it worked. then later on the same day she went to take it out and nothing. thats when I get involved and start by cleaning things up , anything loos I tightened, bad looking wire I replaced , one of the batteries was sitting on top of a couple wires so I fixed. You know ...checked everything out. Lights? yes I have them. I don't get a back up noise when I put it in R, she knows for sure she did before. What next you all?

Check to see if you are getting power to the F&R micro switch (ms).
Source could be the charge receptacle or the battery main +
