Default Friend's G22

Hey

My friend has a g22 that he said was not running. I talked with him on the phone as he is too far away for me to inspect it myself. He said he found a blown fuse in the harness by the solenoid and replaced it. When he jumps the solenoid, the car won't run but the starter will turn. He replaced the solenoid because he had another good one, but with the same result, it only runs the starter.

I explained that he should check his accelerator pedal cable because if it's stretched, or badly frayed it will not run the car, even with the pedal to the floor sometimes. I told him to view it from the access panel but he looked from underneath and said he can see it's badly frayed. Is there anything I forgot to mention? It would not be the harness because power would not be getting to the solenoid to run the starter right?...his accel. Pedal cable is all I can think of

Thanks for input
Steve

Can be viewed with the airbox in place, if you look in the gap just below the airbox, looking in from the drivers side.
