Default Tie rods g16

Wonder why there are two different sets of tie rods available for the G16? I don't know which ones to get, any insight out there?

on my 96 g16 there is a inner and a outer . They are different part numbers . I look all my stuff up here https://www.shopyamaha.com/parts-catalog/lines/golfcar . Just type in your year and model . This had been very helpful to me .

Based on the shopyamaha site you need tie rods that have a female thread. I ordered tie rods for my g16 and had tie rods with the female thread sent to me only to see my tie rod has male ends on them. Not sure if mine where replaced at some point or not. But it looks to be cheaper to just replace the whole thing

Thanks guys. I think mine are the same and obviously out of whack. The driver side is limited out so I'm going to have to turn them both out and start from scratch. Hopefully they will toe.

I didn't go to the site, but do you need tie rods, or tie rod ends? One end of each tie rod is left hand thread, and the other end is right hand thread. You will need two left hand thread, and 2 right hand thread, tie rod ends as well!!

And I'd suggest you stay away from "Buggies Unlimited". Not a good place to do business!!

I think I'm going to just replace both entire tie rod assemblies. Do you recommend anyone in particular? Thanks.
