5 is the idle jet adjustment right? I don't know the new carbs/replacements may be different but my carb idles great and the mixture is adjustable. If you look in the G2/9 manual it shows a screw on the side of the carb and says to adjust idle mixture with it. I don't have it here or I'd look and see if its the same, I have a 32mm CV carb on the clone here.
