Default G9 cart - should I do it?

I have a chance to buy a stock but perfect running G9 Yamaha cart fro $1500. Is this cart worth getting and "build-able"?

What are the pros and cons of this unit?

What are the years this cart was made? Is it a cart that has aftermarket build-able options available?

There are no cons with a Yamaha G2/G9. Great carts, very dependable units.

I bought a 92 G9 last year for 1500. It was a little rougher than I thought after I got it home. Had to pull the engine replace the gasket on the side case. The thing was just plugged with oil so it would get hot. Then I went through cleaned everything up and it runs great. I had to weld the roof cracked roof supports also. then I beefed it up for the rear seat. Was it worth it? I think so. Its a great cart.
