Default Roof Cover Extension

Hey guys, I am new to the golf cart scene and just bought a used 2010 Yamaha Drive G29 and fixing to turn it into a beach cart and I was wondering if there is any roof top extensions out there or if you have to buy a complete new roof top to cover the flip seat I am adding? I would seam to me that it would be easy to make an extension myself out of another top and a few brackets but I am wondering if this has already been done or someone makes and sell such a thing. It seems to me that most just sell or practically gives away their stock top for an extended top which can cost some $ from what I have found.

I have seen hundreds, maybe thousands of golf carts buzzing around the camp over the years and I can honestly say that I have never seen an extension. I would think it would be tough to match up any extension to the molded curve of the short roof resulting is a seriously red neck look if it were done (no offense to red necks intended). I have seen a few homemade full size roofs that are just flat. Those look tacky to me too, though. If you want that cart to look good you may have to pony up.

I was hoping that someone made a matched top extension but I may have to take a stock one and do some red neck southern engineering on it. Thanks

Perhaps can you find a roof from a destroyed limo (4 seaters looking forward) and adapt it nicely...
