G29 F/R adjustment
Any information or threads on how to adjust the f/r linkage on a gas g29? It's not going into reverse. This is happened 3 nights In a row after adjusting the foward cable. Should I leave it in neutral overnight? I feel like the cable is getting stretched. Because after it won't shift into foward I'll adjust the able enough to get it to shift. And the the next day it won't shift again. And I'll adjust it and it will last for a day or week.... What am i missing.

Re: G29 F/R adjustment
Rare the cables ever need to be adjusted. Ive found when most try to adjust the cables, they do just one, when both should be adjusted a little, as one pushes and one pulls. When this is not done, one cable ends up getting stretched out.

Re: G29 F/R adjustment
cables can stretch but like golf cart guy said, it's rare you would have to mess around with those cables. I have not encountered a G29 yet where I had to yet either
