Back tires rubbing.
I have a club car president 2013. I didn't want to install a high lift kit, because I use my cart for playing golf. I installed 14 inch rims and tires 205/30/14. I installed a MADJAX low profile kit which lifted the front just enough to allow the new rims to work. They do not rub, but the back tires seem to be rubbing. I need to get the back lifted a little to avoid the rubbing. Any ideas what I can do other than installing a 3 inch lift kit ???
Thanks, |

Re: Back tires rubbing.
Where are they rubbing? Is the top of the tire hitting the fender? Or is the inner sidewall rubbing against the frame?

Re: Back tires rubbing.
I think its the top. When taking off and when hitting a bump. I Will go and check I assumed it was the top.
Thanks |

Re: Back tires rubbing.
Springbok it’s the outer sidewall of the tire rubbing against the black rubber right above the tire. It seems to only be the drivers side. When I sit on right side of the cart no rubbing. Also it seems to only do it when I first accelerate. Take off slow no rubbing. Drive down the street at a slow paste no rubbing. Just when I try to get the speed up. Once the speed is up doesn’t seem to rub. Thanks for any ideas. I was To by a guy who works on golf carts I need new leaf springs.

Re: Back tires rubbing.
Is there clearance on the passenger side? Like the rear has shifted to the drivers side and isn’t sitting centered under the cart?
If you push the rear of the cart side to side while parked, does the clearance on either side change? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Re: Back tires rubbing.
No the clearance is the same on both sides. I can put 1 finger on top of the tire and it dosn't touch the frame until I get just past the top. Thats going from back to front if that makes any sense.

Re: Back tires rubbing.
So would the passenger side also rub if the suspension was compressed enough?
