All new batteries and they want last nine holes
I have replaced all 6 batteries with new ones and cables on my 98 EZGO and have played 3 rounds of 18. The past 2 days I have played and it has only lasted 8.5 holes. When the batteries start to die, you can feel and hear the motor trying to pull and it sounds like its chattering. Dont know whats wrong, could it be that one of the new batteries is bad. Please help.

Re: All new batteries and they want last nine holes
Cart model? Cart age? Manufacturer of batteries? Voltage? Working charger?

HE meant actual voltage readings..... Sounds like either you are not getting a full charge or you could have a bad battery ..... A load test or hydrometer reading will tell.

Re: All new batteries and they want last nine holes
Do you have a voltmeter? It would be helpful to have starting voltage reading taken 30 minutes after the charger shuts off ... Then maybe a pack voltage reading after each 3 holes and at first sign of trouble? Only then can we see exactly what is happening....

Re: All new batteries and they want last nine holes
Just had all of the batteries checked and 2 of the new ones were bad so I got to new ones under warrenty. When you hook a volt meter to them it should read 36 volts.
