Ok yeah, on my buddies 94 I remember we unbolted the transmission and it looked almost identical to an electric rear end with out the transmission housing bolted in.

Good deal, got the axle ordered. What's the best way to pull the inner bearings to change em out while I have the axle tubes pulled?

Which bearings? The ones on the axle shafts are pressed onto the shaft before putting the axle in the tube.

If you mean the bearings on the center differential carrier, those are pressed onto the carrier. You have to open the case to replace those.

Can I pull the center carrier without disturbing the gears of the transmission?

Would like to change the bearings while it's apart. Can the input shaft be removed easily to clean up on lathe?
