Gas Turf 2 carry all
2008 turf 2 Once started will not shut off. Checked micro switches all good. Checked wiring. All good. Bypassed switches still will not shut off. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Does it start cranking as soon as you connect the battery? Could have a bad solenoid or a short that’s causing the solenoid to stay engaged and crank the motor over constantly.
If it’s a key start motor, there’s a relay in the electrical box that can get stuck and cause it to stay running. There’s a black wire that comes from the coil. That needs to be connected to the black and white wire that runs down in front of the engine. That’s the kill wire that’s connected to the micro switches and eventually the key switch. If that is connected then check it for continuity to ground with key off and all microswitches connected properly. |
