Ok, will it be ok if I lift my golf cart after you re program the controller or will it stress out the motor?

Are you just lifting it or adding larger tires? The motor doesn't care how high you raise the frame, as the motor stays attached to the rear-end. Raising the center of gravity makes it easier to overturn, but that's a personal decision.

The maximum tire height for the stock 235 Amp controller is 20.5" and no lift kit is required for that sized tires. If you want tires larger than 20.5", you will need to buy a 350 Amp Curtis upgrade controller. They run about $1700 from the E-Z-GO store. Like all vehicles, larger tires put more stress on the driveline, which leads to premature failure of the controller.

Make friends and learn/observe, after that it will come easy. Just like meeting people in real life.

Does it make a difference if I switch out my stock battery cables to 2 gauge wires on a stock rxv controller?

What's the benefit of replacing the cables with 2 gauge? Longer run times or what?
