You need to get a constant duty solenoid. You'll burn up a regular starter solenoid in a few minutes or so of running.

If you dont want to wait to order one, visit your local golf cart shop and buy one from them.

Then you'll have to either drive further or wait to order one.

My advice, get an OEM one from david hicks www.revolutiongolfcars.com

The cheap ones on amazon are junk and I've nearly burned carts to the ground when they fail.

If you get one from napa or somewhere, it MUST be a constant duty solenoid. However, most parts stores do not carry them. You'll need to get one from a golf cart dealer. It doesnt just click on to start the cart like a car. It is energized the entire time the cart is running because it has voltage flowing back through it FROM the starter/generator to charge the battery once it starts.

This activity will cook a regular starter solenoid pretty quickly. They're only meant to be energized for a few seconds to crank a starter and start the engine, then they're off again. That's not how a golf cart works.
