Default 2004 Precedent Gas smokes

I am working with a 2004 CC Precedent Gas. It was sitting up so I did the normal maintenance (clean fuel tank, replace fuel lines, filters, clean carb). The engine runs good but smokes some. At first, it was smoking like a brush fire. It has improved. I checked engine compression and the reading was 160psi. That is on the lower end of whats recommended. The spark plug is bone dry and no trace of burning oil in the combustion chamber. I thought maybe that there is oil in the muffler. Any other ideas on what could be causing this.
