key start dies when you let off accelerator

1994 Carryall VI key start dies when I let off of the accelerator. CCW Fe350 looses spark whenever I let off the gas. Starts fine and takes off ok. It looses spark when it should go to idle. I can turn the key to the start position while cart is moving and it fires back up.

I assume it is related to the relay but not sure how. Is there any methods to check it out?

There are two switches on the throttle cam in the "black box" . If I remember right it's the upper one that controls the negative for the relay coil, and when that switch goes bad it opens the relay coil which kills the spark when you take your foot off the pedal.
Replacing that switch should fix the issue, but I've bypassed both the Throttle and Shifter limit switches on both of my key start carts because of that and other problems.

There's only one microswitch in the electrical components box for key start carts,
and I agree with everything else FT said!
