Hey guys just had my engine rebuilt and want to replace all the fuel lines. I have the part numbers but can't get anything to come up. What are ya'll replacing your fuel lines with? Thanks for any replies.

1/4 inch rubber fuel line hose, cut to whatever length needed.

Personal preference but I like the clear blue fuel line. You can see it flowing through and in the event you need to diagnose fuel issues it can be helpful.

yes sir. my old lines are clear. well, yellow now. where do you get that clear blue line at?

This is what I’ve used in the past. It forms to the fittings on the fuel filters and stuff *very* well. Once it’s been on there a week or so you’ll probably have to cut it off if you want to remove it. I like the seal https://www.ebay.com/itm/Fuel-Line-1....m46890.l49286

This is the best clear blue fuel line that I've found:

I've used the cheaper clear blue stuff from rural king and it gets hard after it experiences a little heat. The stens stuff has held up good on my fe290. Its not the cheapest, but its the best quality. It can be removed, while the cheaper stuff usually gets hard and you have to cut it like CP said above me


Pro tip: get the size I linked (3/16" ID) and use needle nose pliers to stretch the end right before you put it on the hose barb. it will shrink back down and remain tight enough that you dont need hose clamps, and makes for easy removable. Been doing this on snowmobiles, atvs, and carts for years.


Also don't forget new fuel filters while youre doing the lines!

alright, got everything back together. got some clear fuel lines and all new filters. put some oil in the motor and now it runs so smooth. glad to have it back in working order. it gets used everyday. thanks to everyone that has replied to my questions. shout out to vic auito in Marietta ga for the rebuild.
