In the pic it looks like the driven is not open all the way. If not, the drive can never close for top speed. It's a problem with one, or the other.

If wider it may not go as far down in the driven and therefore can't climb to the top
of the drive.

With the stock clutch it went to the top..

Flint, could he have been having trouble with the old clutch and masked it
with the torque spring and its just the way it is now?
The other thing although I doubt it is the new clutch has a
different bore depth and the offset could be wrong?
