What to do next?

Got my lift kit will be installing tomorrow. Can I use the stock engine and clutch for a while till I get another motor such as the one ( 16 HP ) at Lowes?

Everyone uses the stock motors lifted, until they put a big block in. I see that motor is only $250, the adapter is $50 if you use the stock generator and clutch it will charge. The one that charges or has electric start is more.
