measuring oil
how do u measure oil on a vanguard v-twin if it's not level perfect ? on a lifted G16

Best way is stop on a hill or jack it up so engine is level, then fill it or otherwise get the right amount/level of oil in the engine. Then park it on the level and see what the dipstick tells you. Mark the new level on the stick as full. With a stock G9 for example it takes 1qt, so you can just drain it and put a quart in, check stick and that is where it should be full. I suppose some engines might need more or less oil but not herd of any issues. If you get them too full some puke it out. Gokart racers sometimes run less oil to go faster, but I never would with a golf cart.

ok i was just wondering bc my cart takes 1-1/2 quart of oil when level,and for being on a slant i was not sure if i needed to use less or more oil
