Default Body Rivet Question

Had to remove dash on my early 2001 exgo txt for radio and speaker install.. And now its time to reinstall,, I have a big 2 handle type rivet tool but from what I read on here a hand powered rivet tool won't work and don't have access to air powered rivet gun... so other then rivets is there anything else I can be use to re-install dash that can purchased from Lowes or home depot

I just installed the rivits in my dash with the same type of gun you have. It came from Harbor Freight and I had nearly no problems. There were a couple of spots that were a challange to get to with the long handles. Just make sure you have the right size rivits.

the ones buy the ball holder i just reached with my fingers. the ones above the "glove boxes" i drilled holes in the top of the glove box where i could get the nut in. you cant see the holes unless you are laying on the floor, and if you are drunk enough to be lying on the floor then you dont much notice the holes. again i hate rivets...

AND if you go to autozone or lowes you can buy plastic hole plugs. look in the panel plug area then you can make your holes the right size for that plug.

I got my rivets from local golf cart repair place. But there was a thread on here that has all sizes needed!
