Re: Cushman 8 Passenger Golf Cart
Sorry for bringing up such an old thread but......
What is so bad about these? I'm picking up an ambulance version of one and in doing some research found this. Just wanted to see before I got to far into it. Thanks!!!!! |

Re: Cushman 8 Passenger Golf Cart
I have built 2 of them and both are still running fine. I kept one for the dragster cart. I made a wrecker out of it.
The other one I sold to a marina and they use it for a maintance cart. Some day I will convert the wrecker to a controller instead of the coils but right now it's fine. |

Re: Cushman 8 Passenger Golf Cart
Glad to see someone is using them. I like the tow truck idea! I will have two ambulances now I'm looking for a fire truck lol. Just thought iw was odd someone joined just to say don't buy them.
So far the only drawback I see is the length looks like the one I'm getting is just over 12 ft long. Should have it Saturday if all goes well. |

Re: Cushman 8 Passenger Golf Cart
I have just about all the parts to swap it over to the controller. May even go 72 volts on it. I have a 48 and a 72 volt altrax controller each to pick from.
Here are a few more pictures it also has a PQ motor in it. Some day I may even paint it. Here is the other one when I sold it. |
