Draining Battery on ST 350
I'll start at the beginning, I replaced the brushes on the starter generator, all went well. put everything back just as it was, and i know this is gonna sound stupid, but i didn't label the wires going to the battery. I am leaning toward maybe i have some of those wires on the wrong terminal, also i installed a new battery but still have the problem. Any help or suggestions out there?
thanks, Tim |

Re: Draining Battery on ST 350
My 2000 ST350 did the same thing. I found out that the key switch had gunk in it. Cleaned it out with contact cleaner and I also added a battery cut-off switch from a marine supply store. That fixed all of it. It also stopped people from just jumping on it and riding off.
