Will this carb work on my 79 marathon?

The BV-18 ran right through the product range with the exception of 1988 when EZGO tried to make a high output engine and used the BV-24 (the precursor to the 3PG). In 1989 they reverted back to the BV-18. So you are good to go. BTW that is the best price I have seen by a long way, normally they come in at $99.

so whats the difference between the mikuni and the aftermarket carb? the link i post was for an aftermarket.
