My charger has a fuse on the front that acts like a reset. When i plug it in it trips it. Can anyone tell me why ? It has 6 8v trojans and all were low on water when i checked it. How do i test the batteries ? I have a meter but sadly i don't have a clue on how to use it. Sure yall are LOL !!!!

Re: need help please
I am not familiar with your setup but definitely get the battery electrolyte up to the proper level with some distilled water... nothing else. Check the electrolyte levels monthly. You may have an issue with one or more batteries that is tripping the charger breaker. I would search online for a manual for your charger if you don't have one. Has the cart been acting abnormal? How old are the batteries? What type of meter do you have?
Also, if you don't already have one, get one of these... |
